The perfect peach is rounded with a nice crease down the middle, it's soft and tastes sweet (although you can't tell that by just looking at it) has a pronounced stem and doesn't bruise when being worked at with the teeth.
But most of all, the perfect peach likes to be...eh... eaten, yeah, that was the word I was looking for.

I smell it and my favorite way to eat them is naturally. Not, cooked, baked or anything else just picked from thee tree & rinsed with water!
I smell it. If it is slightly soft and smells like a peach then I'll take it. If they are too hard they don't smell like peaches and you can tell if it's over ripe by just lightly squeezing it.
NO BRUISES, LITTLE FUZZ,
SERVE THEM COLD SCICED W/ COOL WHIP
W/ ICE CREAM

i only had one perfect peach in my whole lifetime and i was in heaven when i bit into it and the juice ran down my chin and .....now i'm depressed because i don't think i'll ever find a perfect peach like that againThanks alot .You can be so cruel.

Pick it up and check it for bruises and cuts. If there are none, smell it and if it has a mild peach smell, it is ready. They are a bit soft to the touch when very gently squeezed, and will not have a lot of fuzz on them. Some are a little rosy on one side as well.
take them to perfect romantic palce........ have them .... and tempt them....and just F*u*c*k them
I don't. I prefer nectarines. I don't like the fuzzy taste in my mouth.
So I wash it.
then
I put it in the freezer for about five minutes.
I get it really cold.
Then I take it out and...............Bite into it and let the juice run down by lips.. And it tastes so good!
And yes, then I lick my lips.
