"Chijmes" is basically a compound of the acronym "CHIJ" with the rear of the word "chimes" to sound like "chimes". This is to commemorate the importance of the site as the former premise of the Convent of Holy Infant Jesus, which is a school. The school was conserved as a national monument and converted to its current use. Why chimes? Probably because the convent had bells in its chapel.
