Do you think combat pilots will go extinct and gradually be replaced by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)?!

Question: Do you think combat pilots will go extinct and gradually be replaced by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)?
Answers:

Yes and no, the future of combat aircraft will be remote controlled aircraft with pilots sitting in control stations far away from the combat. They will still be piloted, just the pilots won't be in the planes. All that time playing video games might just pay off after all.

i don't think so because UAVs don't move nearly as fast or have as quick an reaction time as an actual pilot and however good UAVs may be there is no substitute for a pilots natural intuition and skill.

Good Gawd, NO! The UAVs would have to be remotely flown by pilots, because no one else in the population can handle flying something while using a keyboard and joystick.

Or so the flying community says...

Yes, because a UAV has no fear of it's own safety and will do anything to down the other aircraft including collision.

Almost certainly. The only thing holding it back are questions on the stability of remote communications with the aircraft.

They will never be able to get a computer to think like a human. Maybe they will have only UAV's, but they would not be as effective

It depends on the situation. I mean if we were at war it would be a different scenario, as they would shoot down the UAVs.
