What are some good ideas for a birthday party in your yard for a 6 year girl that doesn't cost to much money?!
This site has tons of good ideas.
Here's an idea of how to put a tie-dye party together: first get white t-shirts for the girls from a craft store (only about $2 each, if that) and the supplies.
You will need big ziploc bags for the shirts to go home in since it will have to keep for 24 hours; this way girls can carry home to keep. Here's how-to video with supplies needed>>
Cake can be this groovy t-shirt cake:
And of course: psychedelic "tie-dye" ice cream....(easy!)..
And to complete the theme>>have girls make "tiny tie-dye shirt magnets">>>
(great for posting that group pic or individual pic of them on the fridge once they get home!)
The crafts will keep them busy and they'll have something to show for their time at the party that they can enjoy for a long time to come...and you won't have to come up with a lot of game ideas.
But you can always add Twister (because of all the colorful dots)
and do an M&M candy scavenger hunt game:
bbq? picnic? beach party?
rent a pony for rides around your back yard
