Do Chinese restaurants use hamsters n guinea pigs as food?!

Question: Do Chinese restaurants use hamsters n guinea pigs as food?
I love szchechuan food, chinese and japanese food...but every 'asian' restaurant i go into round my state, has hamsters or the such in small cages behind the countertops n in back rooms....i hear em running on the wheels n things, lol...My bro made a joke bout them using those 'pets' as chicken in the almond chicken dinner, but i just laughed it off....Now, Im wondering if its true....why do they keep so many rodents in the restaurants? Are they part of the menu? Or a hidden part of ur cuisine?

Answers:

Many restaurants in China use these types of meat but only as they are the local delicacies. In Britain and many other Chinese Restaurants over the worlds this is just as rumour as, people want to give restaurants a bad name. But don't worry! as long as you are enjoying the meat put in-front of you its OK!!!

Every restaurant, sure right. Hamsters have so much meat in them it would be a shame to use such a SMALL animal. Guinea pigs are used in some South American cuisine. You are one gullible troll.
