How long does homemade crab salad last in the fridge?!
Answers: I bought some crab meat at the grocery store just this last Sunday and I made some crab salad. My question is how long does homemade crab salad last in the fridge?
Considering it is seafood, and I'm guessing there is probably mayonnaise (an egg product) in it, I wouldn't eat it after 3 days.
Anything you buy refrigerated, according to the health department, lasts 72 hrs, after that you take a chance, me, I let things go no longer than a week, so smell the crab, when food goes bad you can usually smell it, I wouldn't let the salad stay around too much longer, seeing how it is already 4 days old.
Trust your nose... if it starts smelling a little funny, then throw it out.
