Can frog-legs be eaten during the lenten season or are they considered a meat? They were on the seafood bar?!

I searched and found this from a Catholic site: Meat is considered to be the flesh and organs of mammals and fowl. Also forbidden are soups or gravies made from them. Salt and freshwater species of fish, amphibians, reptiles and shellfish are permitted, as are animal derived products such as margarine and gelatin which do not have any meat taste.
Frogs are neither mammals or fowl so tell ma to feel free andeat em up!

FYI for another post frogs are amphibians, fish are aquatic vertebrates

yummy!
lots of Catholics eat them on Fridays
go ahead!

Frogs are considered fish and perfectly fine to eat during Lent.
