What did you have for breakfast this morning?!
Answers:
Wholegrain toast - 1 piece with Vegemite, the other with peanut butter (home made) and jam (home made). Two cups of coffee. Yes, you guessed it, Australia.
I had oatmeal/porridge - cooked with 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1 cup of water, a small sliced banana & 1 cup of skim milk, in the microwave.
In the last few minutes of cooking, I mixed in a beaten egg.
After cooking, I added 2 Tb of natural bran & a Tb of natural crunchy peanut butter
And a 750ml sports bottle of water, lightly flavoured with lemon juice.
Most days I don't include an egg, but I was in the mood for an extra filling breakfast today. And sometimes, I use different fruits like blueberries or chopped apple.
Last year, before I learnt the benefits of eating oats, I use to eat less nutritious smaller breakfasts like fruity toasted muesli with full-fat milk or a slice of wholemeal toast with jam.

For dinner last night however I cooked blue berry pancakes and bacon.
