What is it about sodas that I just can't get enough of?!

Question: What is it about sodas that I just can't get enough of!?
I know that at least for me, it's like a necessary tool when eating certain foods!.

Like i feel that I can't fully down or digest greasy foods like pizza, cheese-steaks, or burgers without the physical push from the soda's bubbles!. And the acid in the soda often makes my mouth and esophagus feel like they're being gently scraped from the greasy deposits left by the food!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. errr!.!.!.!.!. the junk food!.

Other times, the gas from the soda simply just makes me feel full!.!.!.!. that is, at least until i flatulate (fart) or burp!. Then, i get the serious craving for more cheap junk food!.

Better to just stick to water with a little [very little] twist of [real] lemon, lime, tangerine, or orange!. (home-made of course)Www@FoodAQ@Com

sugarrrrrrrrr, fake flavors, caffine and diet pop can be extra addictive!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would like to know too!

But a good alternative that I found is Coke Zero and Pepsi One!.

I try to limit them like i would never consume more than 3 per day adn that is pushing it but I would rather drink that then the regular with all that sugar!.

I oftern read the casn though and wonder what am I REALLY drinking here!?!!?!!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you're drinking regular colas its probably the caffeine its actually addictiveWww@FoodAQ@Com

you're addicted maybe!.!.!.you might want to think about the long term effects on your bodyWww@FoodAQ@Com

It's the sensation of that first drink-the bubbles just hits the spot and the taste is comforting and familiar which gets you hooked each time!. You know you shouldn't drink too much of it but its attractive label calls your name whenever you see it!. Just a thought!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
