Question: ALL ABOUT COFFEE TODAY!.!.!.!.!.!?
Ok I know there are a lot of you coffee drinkers and coffee haters out there!. I, myself, am a coffee drinker!. What are the ups and downs of coffee!? The pros and cons!? Is the sugar bad, artificial sugar, the caffeine!? I've heard all of the above, but I still drink coffee!. I really enjoy it!. I just want more opinions :) Thank you! Www@FoodAQ@Com

Basically the only good thing about coffee is that it gives you a little extra energy!. The energy can make you more productive at work or workout a little better doing exercise when you would otherwise not feel like it!. Oh yeah, and coffee constricts your blood vessels in your brain!. headeaches are usually caused by too much blood in the brain!. thus, coffee can resolve or lessen some minor headaches!. Coffee also improves circulation throughout the body, making medicines work better!. if you take an advil with coffee the advil will be more effective!. coffee is highly acidic and can be used as a cleaner in some cases!. you can use coffee to dye paper and make it look like an old pirate scroll!.!.!.

The bad things, coffee is acidic and rough on your stomach and your whole digestive system!. Coffee dehydrates you, when most people don't drink enough water anyway, coffee actually takes away water!. i've heard something like 1 cup of coffee removes 4 cups of water from your body!. if you want to maintain good hydration, you have to drink 4 more cups of water for every cup of coffee!. coffee doesn't have much in calories, but it does have some fatty oils!. coffee also stains your organs brown, it hasn't been proven that this has any adverse affects, other than that when coffee drinker's bodies are autopsied, their organs are brown!.!.!. cheap decaf coffees are decaff'd with formaldehyde, which is a pretty bad thing to put on a food!. cheap coffees are treated with all kinds of chemicals!. coffee addiction can cause bad headaches when you try to break away from it!.

coffee additives vary in their badness!. typical powdered non-dairy creamer isn't that bad but doesn't taste like much either!. flavored creamers contain funny chemicals and tons of sugar!. plain sugar has, well, sugar!. sugar causes your pancreas to flip out and make tons of insulin to combat the sugar so you don't die of a glucose overdose!. (refined sugar doesn't occur in nature, and thus your body is not built to work with it)!. even a very small amount of refined sugar causes this reaction in your body!. repeated overuse of the pancreas like this causes diabetes!. sugar also contributes to the crash when your caffiene wears off, then you are crashing from the caffiene and the sugar!. espresso drinks such as lattes have these issues, but you get the added calories, fat, and cholesterol of drinking 14 ounces (+ or - 8oz depending on size) of milk added to it!. flavored lattes contain lots and lots of refined sugar!. so to sum it up, a Venti Caramel Macchiato, although delicious, is the devil! Don't think im anti-coffee though!. I have a Grande Toffee Nut Latte as I type this!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Coffee is actually good for you, as long as you keep it to a cup or maybe two a day!.

Try to drink coffee with food or it will upset your sugar balnce!.

Artificial sugar is bad! avoid it if possible!.

The caffeine can cause a crash, but each person reacts differently

I drink my coffee black or with milk and sugar!.
