Is my bottle of old fizzy carbonated (fermented?) "100% grape juice" safe to drink?!

Question: Is my bottle of old fizzy carbonated (fermented!?) "100% grape juice" safe to drink!?
i bought a bottle of 100% grape juice about 6 weeks ago and stuck it in my fridge!.
my roommate just opened it to drink some and it is all fizzy and carbonated and funny smelling/tasting!.
is it fermented!?
is it bad!?
is it safe to drink!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hi Anna, not just grape juice, but basically all juices do have a shelf life, I think 6 weeks is over doing it, I would toss it!. Now that I have said that, the juices you see at the supermarket on the shelf, not refrigerated, do have an additive to preserve the life until the item is opened, then the life shortens very quickly!.

It's rancid, toss it out!. Sorry, non alcoholic, just nasty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It hasen't fermented as it needs yeast to ferment!. If it tastes funny leave it - it's only a bottle of juice!? get another!Www@FoodAQ@Com
