Best Book On Homebrewing Beer?!

Question: Best Book On Homebrewing Beer!?
Looking for a book on homebrewing beer that includes equipment recommendations, info on ingredients, kits, etc!. also, are there any kits out there that you recommend using!? I'm interested in one where I can decide how much of each ingredient to purchase (basically create my own recipe, not use one from a bag)!. Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

My favorite is Papazian's The New Complete Joy of Homebrewing!. Homebrewing for Dummies is pretty good too!. Brewer's Best makes a pretty good kit!. Suggestion, start with a simple extract ale before you start creating your own recipes!. That way, you will have an idea of what to change if the results fall short of perfection!. If there is a homebrew shop near you, patronize it!. That will usually be your best source of good advice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would say How To Brew by Palmer is a great book, just because it is free on the internet: http://www!.howtobrew!.com/

After that, The Complete Joy of Homebrewing by Papazian is an excellent book as well!.

also, joining a local brew club, or becoming friends with the folks at your local brew store is also a great source of information!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, I have a copy of How To Brew by John Palmer and it is a great book!. He will also email you back if you have any questions!. Save yourself the downloading & printing headaches of the internet book!. Buy the hard copy at Amazon for under $15!.00Www@FoodAQ@Com
