What does the brand of cigarettes you smoke say about you?!
I was just wondering what - if any - cultural meanings were attached to brands / flavors of cigarettes among smokers!. I smoke Marlboro Milds, and I've sort of gotten the vibes that this brand has certain stigmas attached to it!. Just curious!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Certain brands are say attached to certain races!. Some brands even say volumes about your financial status!.
And you have Marlboro!.!.!.!.!.!.!. that is the most common brand, even non smokers know the name well!. Considering the past, and very public law suits this may be what your feeling about your brand!.

I agree with Lady!. I am an African American woman of Latin descent and I find that the majority of Blacks i know smoke Newports as opposed to my father's family who is Hispanic and they all smoke Marlboro and ONLY Marlboro because it is more popular, and has that name!. As opposed to Newports which kind of have a negative stigma attached to it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
