What is the proper temp to serve chianti?!

Question: What is the proper temp to serve chianti!?
Room temp!? Chilled!?

Ideally, at about 60 degrees!. Room temp is fine, and that's the way most people serve it even if the room is warmer than 60!. Never serve it refrigerator-chilled!. It really does not taste good that way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Conventional wisdom does say room temperature for reds but Light, fruity reds, like Italian Chiantis are actually to be served a bit cooler, between 50 and 60 degrees!. Sorry kittens!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

room temperature is perfectWww@FoodAQ@Com
