Water makes me nauseous the day after I drink, what should I drink?!

Question: Water makes me nauseous the day after I drink, what should I drink!?
I did some drinking last night and this morning, as with every morning after I drink, I was really thirsty!. Thing is, water makes me pretty nauseous the next day as do drinks high in sugar and citrus!. When I wake up, I'm never actually nauseous until I try to rehydrate!. Anybody have any recommendations!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Alcohol dehydrates the body, especially blood vessels and capillaries, hence the thirst and headache/hangover the next day!. And that's why drinking on hot days (even cold/iced alcoholic beverages) or when at high altitudes, is not a good idea!.

Try this: when you go out drinking, have a glass of water BEFORE you take your first drink!. After your 1st drink, have another glass of water!. Continue doing that, so that you are "bracketing" the alcoholic drinks with glasses of water!. You will feel so much better the next day!.!.!.and you'll have fewer dead brain cells and less damage to your liver and kidneys!.

I was told many years ago that if you drink a lot champagne at night and then drink water the next day, you'll get drunk again!. I didn't believe it, until I tried it!.!.!.not only did I get 1/2 drunk again, but the headache was so bad that death would have been a welcome alternative!.

Perhaps you will find that 'social' drinking really means having just a drink or two, since most people I know are NOT social at all after more than a few drinks!.

Lecture is almost over: please don't drink and drive, please don't ride with a drunk driver!. There's no glory in dying because of alcohol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ginger ale would probably be good, as would gatorade which has some salt and electrolytes to help you re-hydrate yourself!. I find the taste of gatorade to be somewhat watery and not terribly sweet, which sounds just like what you are looking for!. another good hangover drink is tomato juice, which has a lot of nutrients to help you feel better and isnt sweet at all (v8 would be another option too!)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You're stuck with water, sports drinks or clear sodas!. You can try coffee or similar, but the caffeine is likely to be just as bad!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Club soda/seltzer, all about the bubbles!. But drink it the night before in between alcohol too and you won't be soo dehydrated in the morning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Idk!. Nest time try drinking a bottle/glass or two of water before sleeping and you won't be as bad in the morning!. also helps avoid that next day headache!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

GINGERALE!.!.!.!. IT WORKS WONDERSWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yea I kno what u mean!. But so far I've been sticking to Ginger Ale, its soothes the stomach!.
Hmm I wonder what else works!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

THEN DON'T DRINK!Www@FoodAQ@Com
