Can't seem to down any alcohol, what to do?!

Question: Can't seem to down any alcohol, what to do!?
Ok, before I start, I'm going to be honest and say this isn't about me, but about my friend!. I don't judge and you shouldn't either!. If you can't help and all you can do is tell me that I'm desperate or a liar, or whatever else, go away!.

So my friend had a pretty bad drinking incident a year ago at a party!. She downed a lot of whiskey alright but in the morning, was throwing up like crazy!. After that, she hasn't been able to even go NEAR alcohol (not even wine or beer), and I'm not advocating alcoholism or anything but she kind of misses being able to!. She's not crazy about alcohol, but it would be nice to be able to go to parties and enjoy a drink!. She says that even smelling alcohol makes her stomach turn!. It's just an inconvenience when she's at a party and she can't even stick around because of the smell!.

Is there some way she can cure this problem!? I said she should slowly reintroduce it, but she said she wants a quicker answer to the problem!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Get an alcohol you really can't taste, I recommend Midori, and just REALLY dilute it with soft drink so there's barely any alcohol in with it!. Then gradually add more alcohol and as you get more drunk you can't taste it :)
Bacardi is another good one, I can never taste that!. Fruity mixed drinks are awesome!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I had the same problem!.!.!.

Well I still have it kind of!. I got alcohol poisoning from vodka, and to this day I can't drink any vodka!.

Your friend should just sip on beers for now!.!.!. Or if she likes mixed drinks, dilute the alcohol in the drink with extra juice/soda/whatever!.!.!.!.

When she starts getting a little buzz, she will enjoy the alcohol more!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The way to cure the problem of your friend not being able to stay at a party because of the smell of alcohol is to do something with your friend that does not involve alcohol!. Maybe alcohol just doesn't agree with her!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

honestly, i think that the bad expierence scarred her and she may not be able to do it again for awhile untill her body is ready!.

:( that sucks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

maybe she should try to start taking it slow and maybe soon it`ll all come back to her!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
