Wouldn't it be cool to permanently be on a mild alcohol buzz?!

Question: Wouldn't it be cool to permanently be on a mild alcohol buzz!?
And do you think many people actually live like that!?

I have just got home from the Uni bar and I only had one jug (it's the uni bar so beer is just drunk straight from the jug, hardly anyone will get just a bottle or just a pint) but it feels really nice and I'm a lot more social without being drunk after just one jug!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For your first question: yes, there are people who actually are drunk most of the time!.
But, trust me, it's nothing cool about being drunk all the time!. I tried it for like 2 weeks on my holiday, and after I stopped drinking I felt dizzy, my head hurt like hell and it just felt like I'm outside of my body somehow when I was sober!. And these symptoms lasted 2 or 3 days after, almost like i was detoxing!. Honestly, I wouldn't do it again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not really!. I enjoy reality!. Occasionally a few drinks makes for a nice, relaxing diversion!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes I think they do, but I also think they turn into alcoholicsWww@FoodAQ@Com

Cool for your liver too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

hey ALKI!Www@FoodAQ@Com

yea their called drunksWww@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, if only it was that easy!.

It is that way with all drugs, but alcohol is obviously one of the more dangerous and addictive of the drugs, legal or not!.

No matter how much you try to mix your habit with your every day life, it won't work!.

No matter how much you have your **** together or how much money you have or how many friends you have, drugs don't have anything positive to contribute!.

Unfortunately most people's lives are not like Leave It To Beaver and many people need something just to get out of bed the next day!.

Eventually an addiction will get you in trouble with your family, job or the police and may cause health problems!. Having a drug habit will take away time from your family and loved ones!.

Living with a drug addiction feels like stepping in a time-machine where everything that mattered to you before the addiction has changed and evolved during the months or years where your number one priority has been to the drug!.

What you are suggesting is exactly what every person with an addiction hopes for and strives for!.!.!.!.!.!.but it is impossible to achieve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yea!.!. it would be fun for about a year or so, then your body would deteriorate to the point that you are puking up vile every morning, and putting on weight, and not able to hold down food!. Then, your liver might explode in your chest!. Not to mention the multiple problems that could develop from your liver not functioning properly, like high blood pressure and heart disease!.

My advice, from experience, is to ALWAYS have a few days off from alcohol when you drink socially, and never drink alone!. ALWAYS! Make that your golden rule, and never go day to day drinking!. I am just saying it like it is, and you can take it or leave it!. But you have already made up your mind, haven't you!?

Alcoholism has many forms, not all of them are drunk 24/7!. Some are binge drinkers, some are social, some are maintenance drinkers, some have a few cocktails after work every day, some are on the corner of the street asking for money!. Get it!? If you can't say no to a drink when you are drinking, or always want more, you may have a problem!.

Ask yourself if you can handle just drinking 2 beers without wanting another!. Some people can, some can't!. The time to nip it in the bud is when you can accept it, before you have a real physical addiction!. Trust me, you don't want to go through that!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
