What Is The Least Fattening Alcoholic Drink?!
I've heard that alcohol is really fattening and i drink quite often so I need to find something to drink that wont make me gain weight!.!.!. Oh and I don't like diet things like diet coke!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Light beer contains on average 97 Calories per 12oz bottle!. One is as low 64 calories a bottle!.
Wine averages 125 calories per 5oz serving!. The problem is that most places don't sell 5oz serving they sell 8 ounces or more!.
Liquor (doesn't matter the type) averages 64 calories an ounce!. A serving is 1!.5oz and 97 calories!. The problem here is two fold!.!.!.one you never know exactly how much you're getting unless the bar you're at uses a measuring device to pour EVERY drink!. You could be getting slightly less than 1!.5oz or you could be getting a hell of a lot more if the bartender thinks you're hot!. Two, unless you are using a zero calorie mixer like diet soda or water your calorie count goes off the charts!.
Light beer is pre-measured and has the calories right on the label!. Simple common sense tells you that if you are counting calories!.!.!.go with the drink that makes it easiest!.
Now, the truth!.!.!.it doesn't really matter!. Weight gain is caused by consuming more calories per day than you burn!. It doesn't matter what you drink, if you aren't burning off the calories or even worse you're going out for a 3am burrito when the bar closes!. YOU WILL GAIN WEIGHT! I drink full flavored beer, but I excercise!. I walk to the grocery store when possible!. I take stairs instead of elevators and I skip the after hours eating!. I've been able to maintain the same weight for several years now!.

When I am going for low calorie drinks, Vodka and Tonic is a good way to go, but if you are making it at home you can buy diet tonic which cuts out about 30 grams of sugar!.
If you are at a bar you can have a guiness as they have about 150 calories and taste great, or if you like, bourbon and water on the rocks is good too!. I agree it usually is the mixers that cause the calories, the boos is just what you are going for!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have a chart for various cocktail calories, and it seems like a Seabreeze (vodka and cranberry juice) is only 125 calories per cocktail!. I'd think that a Bloody Mary might even be less, since tomato juice is so low in calories (and healthy for you - no sugar)!.!.!.!. btw: 1 full glass of plain vodka seems to have 1530 caories!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hard liquor isn't actually that fattening!. It's all the mixers and light drinks that are really rough on the waistline!. So if you want to keep the pounds off, try drinking something like scotch and water or soda, vodka and cranberry or the like!. Or just have it straight or with ice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Any clear, unsweetended hard liquor!. Vodka or Gin is best!. Its just sugary mix in things like flavored vodka and beer that kill you, and the mixes like coke or Orange Juice!.!.!.!.
Even a shot of tequila or Rum or something is not that bad!.

Diet Sprite and vodka is my choice!. You could also do Gin and Tonic!. Stay away from mixes (Daquari, Magaritas, Pina Colada) because they are high in sugar which turn to fat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Try a tinto verano (Summer wine in Spanish)!. It's half a glass of red wine topped up with a light no calorie lemonade called La Casera or any light lemonade!. It's great on a hot summers day like today!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
