# How much alcohol can an average person drink to stay below the .08 level?!

Question: How much alcohol can an average person drink to stay below the !.08 level!?
http://www!.ou!.edu/oupd/bac!.htm go to this website and it is a police calculator it will tell you exactly how much a person can drink to stay below the !.08 limitWww@FoodAQ@Com

There is no real good answer to that question!. BAC is dependent on lean body mass, so larger, leaner people can usually drink more!.
BAC is also time dependent and varies by personal rate of absorption,
How fast you drink, what else you have in your stomach, and your personal metabolism will determine your BAC!. You can drink the same amount and have a different BAC and women usually will have a higher BAC than men for the same alcohol consumed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It depends on your body weight, your metabolism, how much you've eaten that day, and how fast you drink!. Basically there is no way to KNOW for sure that you are under the legal limit to drive!. Therefore, it is best to just plan ahead not to drive when you are going to be drinking, even if you are under the legal limit, your reflexes are slowed and you are putting OTHERS lives in danger, not just your own!. I know it seems unlikely, but it happens every day and just imagine if it DID happen to you!. Why risk it!?

BTW - Those calculators are not accurate - they cannot measure your individual body!. It's different for everyone!. It even says so under the calculator!. It's merely a rough estimate!. If it's really that important, you can buy a breathalyzer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

for a younger person, of average weight!.
one drink = one beer, one glass of wine, one shot of 80proof
and each hour that passes will remove about !.015

these amounts are estimated, and change with age, weight, and for each individual!.
you can buy breathalyzers for cheap!. its a easy way to stay safe!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

for an average male, i think 2!.5 beers (longnecks) will put you over the limit if you drink them one after another on an empty stomachWww@FoodAQ@Com

One drink an hour, three in an evening - MAX!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
