How much to get drunk, how long will it last?!

Question: How much to get drunk, how long will it last?
so im in highschool and drink sometimes.

ive never been full blown drunk but ive been around people who have and then within an hour or two there fine? most likely there faking it but who knows.

i want to get to a solid buzz going, but nothing where im slurring my words, and cant control what i do.

im 5'8 and 130 pounds (skinny i know)

ill probably drink on a full stomach but tell me how much to drink for both.

so like how many cans of beer (bud light, and other cheap beers most likely), or shots of vodka, or shots of something else.

i was thinking of just drinking one 40 oz. colt 45 and maybe a shot but like i said im not trying to get to drunk where i cant control myself.

thanks!

I'll say this: If I want to keep feeling it, I have to keep drinking it (though not all that quickly).

It doesn't take long after stopping, before the buzz drains off.

I would try to avoid mixing liquor and beer. If you have too then drink the liquor before the beer. Also what I do is I drink about 1/4th of a bottle of coke and pour some jack daniels whiskey into the bottle and I drink that and it get me feeling pretty good. I'm 5 11 and a solid 205lbs mostly muscle but a little fat and if that gets me pretty buzzed then it should get you buzzed too. Remember that everyone is diffrent so there is no straight answer for this question.

a few quick shots and a steady beer drinkin should get u a good buzz, but that is the worst combo i have ever heard of...good luck with that

I do not recommend much drinking, but--for what it's worth--I am 6-1 and the same weight, and one beer makes me pretty mellow. Though what I'll usually do is have a small glass of wine with about a 1/2 bottle of beer (regular size, not a quart), and I am feeling no pain. Anything much more than that, and you probably have a mental health problem you're trying to compensate for. Normally, just no need.

The guys who do a whole six-pack are nut-cases (and alcoholics). ; )

Don't forget to prevent the hangover with UB21, which really works!!

It usually doesn't take much for most people. Keep in mind that 1.5 ounces of liquor has roughly the same amount of alcohol as 12 ounces of beer. Eat a light meal. Start by drinking drinks that are low in alcohol such as beer. Drink slowly (one drink per hour). Only drink two or three drinks at the most. If you drink three shots, etc., that's three small amounts, and it's still a lot of alcohol. DO NOT DRIVE. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW YOU WILL REACT UNTIL YOU'VE HAD ALCOHOL A FEW TIMES. ALSO, MAKE SURE AT LEAST ONE SOBER (NOT DRINKING AT ALL) PERSON (PREFERABLY TWO OR THREE PEOPLE) IS WATCHING YOU TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING ILLEGAL, DANGEROUS, EMBARASSING, OR REGRETFUL. YOU HAVE TO HAVE THOSE DESIGNATED PEOPLE TO MAKE SURE YOU GET HOME SAFELY, TAKE CARE OF YOU IF YOU GET SICK, AND DON'T DRINK TOO MUCH.
For someone about 150 pounds, two drinks in two hours would probably make you legally drunk (.08 blood alcohol level). It doesn't take much alcohol at all to make you legally drunk, and alcohol stays in your system for hours before it is all gone.
Vomitting, eating fodd does not affect your BAC. However, it can make it go down faster as the alchohol in your stomach that has yet to metabolize, is absorbed in to food or just plain old chucked u into the street.

Actually it takes a lot more then 2 drinks to get drunk. It will most likely take 7 or 8 beers to get you drunk if your 150lbs. Sorry but 2 drinks doesn't even make me tipsy. And if you have 2 drinks within 2 hours, thats even worse, you wont be feeling a thing. For your first time i suggest to just have a 6 pack and it should get you inbetween tipsy and drunk, so you can control yourself but still have a good time :D
