How do you know if your drinking is a problem?!
I'm a recovered alcoholic in my 5th year of recovery, like most alcoholics I denied I had a problem to everyone including myself, if you do have a problem you are wiser than most in addressing it.
I now work in a rehab centre myself, try this short self assessment and it will give you a good idea.
I would say if you feel uncomfortable going through the day without it, you may have a problem. If you just drink socially and don't crave it, can take it or leave it you're probably ok. Once you start to crave it or need it, look deeper into a possible problem.
If before you have breakfast, you feel like having a drink.
If you are asking, and you are feeling that it might be....then I would say yes.
